Vesa Agro Producer Company Limited or VAPCL is a Farmer producer organization established on the 12th of August 2020. VAPCL is a joint venture among a group of world leading commodity and agro experts and esteemed social welfare organizations effectively working towards a common goal . Situated in the rural area of Kanpur Uttar Pradesh , our primary objective is to empower the poor & marginal farmers with the help of a value chain management of Agro Crops and other farm based commodities . We have a state of the art procurement and processing system in place where we ensure an unparalleled standard of quality and thanks to a collective effort of an FPO we can set - up a market linkage system that helps us deliver the highest quality products while simultaneously returning a healthy profit to the farmers . VAPCL focuses on group farming which maximizes productivity and gives the farmers a stable source of income . Our organization has an Equity share based membership model where the Farmers and the Farmers Group have primary membership with equity holdings in VAPCL . Our organization is a supplier as well as a producer working with more than 50 active self - help groups consisting mostly of women . OUR VISION
We at VAPCL value the skill set , effort , and financial condition of poor & marginal farmers . India is an agro - based industry and it employs 42.38 % of the country's population but it contributes only 14 % to the nation's GDP . Due to the rapid increase in population and a significant increase in incomes and purchasing power has resulted in increased demand for quality food and agricultural products . Our goal is to enable small scale farmers to improve the quality as well as the quantity of their produce and satisfy the increase in demand . Our objective is to expand worldwide and help further improve the quality of life for the farmers .
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
We at VAPCL firmly believe that women are the backbone of the society . In the rural areas it is important that women step out of the four walls and realize their own potential . We design training programs specifically for women where they can learn and develop skills that can help them be independent and earn for themselves . We have more that 50 active self - help groups and as we grow we plan to expand that number through which we will be able to employ and empower more such women .
M.D Mrs Chitra Sachan
Our M.D Mrs Chitra Sachan has been involved with several N.G.Os and self - help groups for a number of years . She has spent most of her time working for the upliftment of women and improving the quality of life for the poor and marginal farmers . Due to her expertise and understanding of rural affairs we are delighted to have her a part of our organization .
